A proud United States Air Force veteran and longtime Gatesville resident, Ed Leonard has been entertaining Texas audiences for decades. He first picked up a guitar in 1986 and quickly found his place on stage, becoming the front man for multiple bands throughout the 1990s. After stepping away from the Country scene to focus on family and serve as a worship leader, Ed returned to his roots with a renewed passion for performing.
In 2015, he launched his full-time career as a one-man band under the name Ed Leonard and Friends—and hasn’t slowed down since. Averaging 125–160 shows per year, Ed has built a loyal following across the region. His “Friends” aren’t just bandmates—they’re the incredible audiences who show up night after night to share in the music and memories.
Specializing in Classic Country, Ed delivers the songs you know and love, with the flexibility to mix in Classic Rock and other favorites by request. There’s no fixed set list—every performance is crafted in the moment to match the energy of the crowd, making each show a one-of-a-kind experience.
